Description
From the 1993 catalogue ‘Wijnand Nuyen and his friends’
Wijnand Nuyen mastered the art of bringing the furnishings of his works into the right balance with the other elements of the work. Buildings, streets, squares, and people form a natural whole together. Life at this fish market could be taken straight from everyday life. Here, Nuyen presents, as it were, a snapshot.
